Tommy Cooper died on stage at Her Majesty's Theatre in London on April 15th 1984, live on national television.
We truly lost one of Britains finest comedy talents, but now Phil Hoyles presents his own personal tribute to the much loved giant with a show that has been named as the UK's number one tribute to Tommy Cooper.
The show features plenty of Tommy's jokes as well as the classic magic tricks, such as the infamous 'Bottle & Glass' routine.
All of the props used in the show are replicas of Cooper's and were found after much research on the internet and with the help of former 'Order of the Magi' president, Geoffrey Newton.
Phil has been doing the show since 2002 and taken it all over the UK and abroad, performing at hotels, holiday parks and theatres.
He impressed producers of the West End smash hit 'Jus' Like That!' in 2004 and was invited to become the understudy to Jerome Flynn during a 16 week UK theatre tour.
Organisers of the 'Big Cheese Festival' in Caerphilly have used Phil's talents every year since 2004, always being asked back by popular demand.
An 8 month season at the Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne during 2006 saw Phil including his Tommy Cooper tribute in 'The Great British Variety Show'
Phil made an appearance on BBC's 'Look North' in 2006, and many appearances on BBC Radio. He has also been heard as Tommy on a programme called 'Dead Funny' for Rock FM.
In 2007 Phil was pleased to be the special guest on 'The Dame Lucy Bun & Reg Laughter Show' at the Parkway Theatre in Cleethorpes, and visited such places as Corfu, Mallorca, Menorca, Lanzarotte and Portugal, performing for Thomson Holidays.

In addition, Phil is now available with his own show of comedy & magic, which he performs as himself, and if required he can also supply a vocalist to create a whole evening of entertainment which includes an optional disco.
